✨My Marli Day at the Easter Show 🐣🎡✨

I got to be an actual Production Assistant and Shot Director for the day!! I had my own schedule, helped plan scenes, and even gave real-time direction while we were filming parts of the event. It was seriously the coolest experience ever — people were actually listening to me on set 🎬💁‍♀️ I got to see how the shots came together behind the camera and in front of it.

I’m getting all the raw footage sent to me too and I get to edit my own version of the final video! Can't wait to add some sparkle to it ✨

I got this pineapple plushie that's as big as me 🍍😂 It’s so squishy I swear it could be my new mattress. And I found this adorable Phillip Island Penguin bag – HELLO cutest thing EVER 🐧💼

 

AND GUESS WHAT?! They brought my fave Lebanese bread just for me 🥹❤️ who else gets their favourite bread hand-delivered? (Only me. I'm the chosen one.)

 

Then came the freeze-dried lollies... GIRL. Life. Changing.

🔥 Freeze-dried Skittles = 10/10 🔥
I stuffed them into my Penguin bag pocket like a squirrel and told everyone they were mine. No sharing here 👀
Also tried some freeze-dried lolly hearts (kinda chewy but yum) and a freeze-dried pineapple lolly – maybe like 7/10.

 

Okay okay now the show bags...

 

🎀 Lilo & Stitch bag was iconic – wall-walker Stitch, coin pouch Stitch, stickers for journaling (which I actually love to do lol), and a Stitch Stanley cup.

💖 Also got the P!NK show bag (everything pink duh) – pink socks, pink cup, holographic vibes, pink hat and pink beach towel. Still loyal to my Batman beach towel tho 😎🦇

 

Now. Here comes the coolest part:

🎥 I got filmed at the show!! With a teeny tiny camera lens (looked smaller than a GoPro) but dude was making BIG moves. He was filming T (Tanaka) and I was totally in it. I'm making my own version of the day from the footage 😎 #DirectorEnergy

 

I felt really supported by the whole team — Michelle and T, encouraged me every step of the way with my learning (and fun! 🤩)

 

Rides were NEXT LEVEL 🎢
Haunted Clown funhouse? Got lost, so fun. Merry-go-round? VIBES.
And I had my first EVER Pluto Pup (aka corn dog) with a lemonade and now I am a changed person 🌭🍋

 

But my absolute FAVE moment of the day??
T said – and I quote – he would "NEVER in a million years" go on a ride.
Guess who got him on not one but TWO?! 
ME 😏

 

He said the first was the last... and I still made him do the second. Sorry not sorry 💁‍♀️

 

Best. Day. Ever.
