Specialist Support Coordinator

Brandon is passionate about working with youth and participants with physical, intellectual, and psychological disabilities. His previous experience as a disability support worker and a crisis out-of-home carer for young people has given him a deep understanding of the unique needs of individual participants and how to implement a holistic approach to their care. These roles have provided Brandon with hands-on experience working directly with participants on a day-to-day basis.

Brandon has completed a Certificate IV in Child, Youth, and Family Intervention, along with additional units in counselling and disability services. He has also undertaken therapeutic crisis intervention training and has worked under the principles of trauma-informed care and person-centred care.

Brandon believes in an individualized approach for each participant and strives to empower them to maintain autonomy over their care by providing informed choices. He chose to become a Support Coordinator to play a greater role in helping participants navigate the NDIS and access the support and care they need.
